Postpartum Update and Meet Sophia!

So happy for you, Sophia is beautiful and looks so healthy! I hope your birth wasn't too crazy. Can't wait to hear your labor story. I hope your enjoying all your quite minutes with her. Keep on the nursing, after two weeks it go a lot easier for me, the first two weeks were so tiring and sore, then it just got easier.

Aww, Sophie looks adorable and sweet. And so tiny. Congrats Courtney! Motherhood becomes you. :) Time goes by so fast and I can't belive that my girl was this little two years ago...

I wanted to breastfeed so bad but I had to give it up after two months after struggeling (and crying, pumping and hurting). It was hard to make that decision and I felt like a bad mama at the time, but we both was so much happier afterwards. So don't beat yourself up over it if you for whatever reason can't or choose not to breastfeed anymore. The pressure to nurse is enourmous here in Europe, but it's just not worth being that miserable. The baby is better off with a happy mommy. But you seeme to be doing just fine. :)

Don't you just love the dough ball of a stomach you have once they are out it is crazy. I am glad things are going so well for you.
